Revealed: The Four Underlying Causes of Hormonal Acne & How to Reverse Them

Posted by Delgado Protocol Inc. on

Hormonal acne is a complex issue which has baffled the best of scientists and doctors for years, until now. My research over the last 44 years has led to the discovery of the four major underlying causes of hormonal acne and I have developed an acne-clearing protocol which has led to tens of thousands of satisfied clients and patients. Below is a summary of the four causes of hormonal acne and how you can reverse them safely, naturally and permanently!

Hormonal Acne Cause #1: Low SHBG

Sex-hormone-binding-globulin or SHBG is a hormone that binds to and clears excess sex hormones. Low SHBG is a major contributor to hormonal acne because it can lead to an excess of sex hormones which trigger the sebaceous glands in the skin to overproduce oil and the extra oil clogs the pores and attracts bacteria. The white blood cells then shuffle in to attack the bacteria and this leads to inflamed pimples and pus.

If we produce enough SHBG, it will attach to acne-causing hormones such as estrogen, DHT and testosterone and prevent them from wreaking havoc on our skin. Birth control pills help clear acne by artificially increasing SHBG but they come with a bevy of harmful health-effects which can persist long after stopping them. Fortunately there is another way to boost SHBG - I have developed a safe, all natural and clinically proven formula which increases SHBG called EstroBlock Pro (check out our 800+ positive reviews on Amazon). This product is also sold under the trade name ‘Clear Skin Advance’ and can be purchased at http://Fromthedoctors.com.

Hormonal Acne Cause #2: Too Much mTOR

Research shows the enzyme mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin) fuels acne in three ways - it leads to abnormal growths in the skin, it stimulates the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands in the skin, and it increases inflammation. EstroBlock Pro contains several active natural ingredients that reduce mTOR and prevent it from fueling acne.

Hormonal Acne Cause #3: Insulin Insensitivity

An insensitivity to insulin is problematic because you need insulin to balance out blood sugar, and when you’re insensitive to insulin, your blood sugar levels rise. Your body responds by pumping out a lot of insulin to bring blood sugar down, and that triggers inflammation and androgen hormones, which trigger acne. About 20% of acne cases are fueled by insulin insensitivity and this can be corrected with the product Insulin Mitochondria on estroblock.com.

This proprietary formula is especially beneficial for PCOS sufferers, it promotes detoxification and it can be taken ongoing. One or two capsules a day will not only help clear acne but also support long term anti-aging of the skin and body, much like the diabetic medicine Metformin which is used by many for anti-aging.

Hormonal Acne Cause #4: An Excess of Bad Estrogens

Although we are listing this last, it is actually the most common cause of hormonal acne. There are harmful and helpful estrogens in the body and an excess of harmful estrogens (16aOHE) leads to estrogen dominance which not only causes acne but can also lead to fatigue, irritability, mood swings, sexual dysfunction, depression and cancer (to name a few).

Estrogen dominance can cause acne by leading to insulin insensitivity and also by

over-burdening your liver. The liver is responsible for processing toxins and hormones and when you have estrogen dominance your liver has to work overtime. If your liver can't keep up, the skin steps in to help with the detoxification process, which leads to clogged pores, inflammation and stubborn acne.

EstroBlock Pro contains diindolylmethane, or DIM which is a compound that is found naturally in cruciferous vegetables. DIM not only shifts bad estrogens into healthy estrogens but also increases the production of SHBG, detoxifies harmful chemicals, and reduces excess hormones. In order to achieve an acne clearing affect you would need to consume several pounds of cruciferous vegetables daily. Or you could take just EstroBlock Pro which provides doses of DIM that are equivalent to consuming 10 lbs of cruciferous vegetables.

Worth noting, there are multiple phases of estrogen dominance and hormone metabolism. EstroBlock Pro addresses phase 1, and phase 2 can be addressed with DHT Block. After a few months of taking these two nutraceuticals, you can address phase 3 by taking Liv D-Tox(also sold under the trade name - Liver Accel on docnutrients.com). Finally after 6 months you can add DNA Protector which acts as the ultimate methyl donor and ushers toxins out from the body.

Lifestyle Recommendations to Turbocharge Acne Clearing

EstroBlock Pro and the other nutraceuticals mentioned above will do wonders for your skin, however if you want to clear your acne completely and permanently you need to also modify your diet. This is important because if you continue to consume dairy, greasy foods, chicken and meat, you will continue to fuel the underlying causes of acne - estrogen dominance, mTOR and blood sugar imbalances. For radiant acne-free skin you should consume a high fiber, wholefoods, plant-based diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, and choose organic products whenever possible.

For even quicker results, partake in at least 12 minutes of high intensity or rebounding exercises daily. This will stimulate the lymphatic system which helps cleanse the body and skin. 90 minutes of gentle exercise (such as walking) daily is also beneficial. And twice weekly sauna sessions of 20 minutes will help further speed up the removal of toxins that contribute to acne.

Considerations

For the best results it is recommended that you take two capsules of EstroBlock Prodaily (one in the AM and one in the PM). You can expect to see results on EstroBlock Pro within a month or two however, acne is not something that is caused overnight, and clearing it completely will take time as well. Be patient and allow 6 to 9 months to clear acne completely.
